A Conversation With TnTXD: Placements, Selling Beats Online, and Everything in Between
South Carolina-based producer TnTXD has been an unstoppable force as of late. We recently took the time for a lengthy conversation with him and when asked about goals that he’s set for himself, he replied with “every year, I want to have at least 50 placements”. He’s landed multiple placements with industry icons including Rod Wave, NBA Youngboy, Lil Tjay, Lil Baby, and Fivio Foreign, so we’d say he’s definitely on target for achieving that goal.
Most recently, TnTXD made the XXL list of best hip-hop producers of 2021 and was recognized for his “ability to spark a melodic ascension into the heavenly clouds of sound” on almost half of Rod Wave’s SoulFly project. His success this year doesn’t stop there. TNT landed 5 records on NBA YoungBoy’s latest album Sincerely, Kentrell.
